REMINDER: TOMORROW’S FRIDAY, SO THAT MEANS VOCAB, HOME READING LOG AND QUIZ TOMORROW!
I think this story is going to be about someone who is deep. Someone who has seen the worst of all human nature. It is going to be an intense book by the looks of it. From the cover it looks like the fly represents the wings and being able to be free. The person represents the main character in the story. So by the cover it looks like it's about a person who either wants to be free or gets the chance to be free. It seems like a book that will be touchy and get you sensitive. I can't wait to start reading it.
ReplyDeleteI think this book is going be a action book. like a person that's going to be in charge of all flies.also send the flies to kill a bunch of people that he doesn't like. and the main character that's in charge of the flies is going to die at the end. i think this book s going to be intense and action. its also probably going to be about a man turning into a fly.i hope to read this book soon.
ReplyDeleteI think this book is going to be crazy. I think that there is going to be a lot of action involved, and people fighting for their lives. It seems like there's going to be a lot of turning points in the story, maybe even some people losing their lives or stuff like that. I have a feeling that there's going to be a lot of risk taking as well, as characters fight for their lives. From looking at the cover, it's probably going to be something about flies, but I don't know. But, from reading the back, I could tell that it was to do with boys trying to survive after they get stranded on an island. Hopefully, I don't get bored reading this book.
ReplyDeleteI think this book is going to be have a lot of action in it . I believe that someone is going to die . And maybe everything is going to change from that point an on because that person died . I also think that the boys will run through a lot of trouble. And there going o turn into flies and after all there going to be saved . And because there going to become flies they will try to free themselves or want to be freed . This book seems interesting because it looks like it has the main characters running into a lot of action.
ReplyDeleteKnowing this author has some kind of post-war traumatize, he is going to express those traumas in this book. Violence is going to be a big one. I predict there is going to be a group of people who are going to try to become the "lord" of the flies. The flies being used as a metaphor for describing humans as being small compared to the Earth. I believe there is going to be a lot of fights, bloody mostly, and he is going to describe them as accurately as possible, putting his war experience into play. Eventually someone will step up and try to control everyone. That person is going to get murdered, and everyone in the end is just going to end up murdering each other.
ReplyDeleteI think that this book is going to be about be about war. Like some army people go to war with some maniac that controls flies and i think this book is going to have some twists and turns is going to leave you shocked. I think the beginning of this story is going to be REALLY boring and i might sleep through half of it but i'm looking forward to reading this book.
ReplyDeleteLet me make this longer by commenting on it.. Um so my other opinions about this book are that its going to be scary and action packed towards the end. I have a few questions about this book too why is this book named The Lord of The Flies like come on.
DeleteI think that this book is going to be some sort of adventure. I think that Ralph is going to lead them to safety after some sort of catastrophe. Also I feel as if Jack is not going to agree with Ralph and is going to die off in the book because he is so stubborn. In this book I think it will end with a sad ending like no one surviving or something of that nature. This book looks like the type of book where nature is a big part of the story. I feel as if the fly in this story represents freedom. Also I feel as if there will be a lot of problems between characters. Finally I hope this is a good action book.
ReplyDeleteI think the book is going to be a story that Ralph tells that shows that evil exist. It's going to be about his nightmares of WWII. I feel like Ralph is the leader who takes his troop into victory in the war. I think that his troops were left alone, and they have to survive. I think that Roger is going to make Jack rebel against Ralph and that going to be a problem. I think there is going to be a lot of action and suspense in the story. Overall the title seems interesting.
ReplyDeleteI think the book will be about Ralph showing his evilness to the other characters. It might be about the author's experience in World War II or his friend's nightmares that was with him during that time. Ralph and some of the characters got hijacked in a plane or a boat and was stranded on an island. There will probably be a lot of violence because MR. Ostini was talking about it a little. I also have a few questions about this book, why is this book named The Lord of The Flies? Is there a movie of it and if there is can we watch it? I am pretty exctited that we are going to read this book.
